Here I am busy working away in WERKSTATT. What a joy it is to be able to work at home, anytime I want/need to. Remember you could always get some jewelry repaired as a holiday gift as well. However, you have to be able to sneak the piece out of the house undetected. That could be tricky. Gift certificates are available for jewelry, classes or repairs. I also would happily rework a piece of jewelry to turn it into something new and treasured.
With plenty of firewood stacked WERKSTATT is cozy for classes and for me to work as well. The wood stove keeps the chill at away.
I am so thrilled to be included on the Vermont Weddings website. What a great opportunity to be included in a site that connects couples to event planners, rings, dresses, caterers, florists, linens, musicians and so much more. If you know anyone getting married soon please be sure to pass along the site to them.
CB Sacks totes, clutches and other accessories are here at last!
Our first production run of 180 totes, in two sizes and two styles, are for sale this weekend, along with clutches and earrings, also made from upcycled coffee sacks and leather. The totes and clutches are now on display on our website — www.cbsacks.com — and you can purchase them on line now.
As always, 5% of every sale is invested in food security projects in coffee farming communities. Scroll down to learn more about our social mission.
Each pair of earrings is made from our signature leather and burlap coffee sacks, and they come in a wide range of colors and textures. At the Stowe Foliage festival, we’ll also introduce the results of a design collaboration between CB Sacks and Burlington-based jeweler, Jane Frank, featuring a sterling silver bezel that frames the leather / burlap pieces forming a stunning partnership between fine metal and textile. Thank you for your incredible design expertise Jane!
